SECR Reporting
Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) was introduced on 01/04/2019 to replace the previous Carbon Reporting Scheme (CRC).
Many more businesses will be eligible for SECR than CRC, which only affected around 4,000 organisations. Under the new scheme, 11,900 businesses will need to comply with the new Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) scheme for the first time.
Organisations affected by SECR are:
* UK-registered & large unquoted companies
* Annual balance sheet total greater than £18m.
